IEC TV & DAB+ Compact Transmitters

The IEC lines maintain the traditional safety features of Itelco transmitters and improve the ease of intervention by operators through an extremely simple design.

Redundancy has been applied to the design of the transmitter as well as of the cooling system.

The IEC line is built on the base structure of the MEX II exciter, with a 100 to 300 W amplifier integrated inside it: modulation, control and amplification therefore live in a single unit, with no additional racks and no separate modules.

The family comes in two versions: IEC UHF for analog and digital television, and IEC DAB+ for digital radio in VHF band III, between 174 and 230 MHz. The amplification stages are designed specifically for each band.

Thanks to standardized components across the range, Itelco keeps operating costs low while ensuring straightforward maintenance and efficient spare parts management.
